Carex 'Moon Falls', commonly known as Moon Falls Sedge, is a bright, cascading sedge from the Falls series with narrow blades featuring creamy-white centers and deep green edges. This reverse of the popular 'Feather Falls' forms a compact mound of arching foliage that spills gracefully over the edges of containers and walls. Its evergreen leaves bring light and movement to shady spots all year. Moon Falls is adaptable and low maintenance, tolerating a range of soils, some sun, and drier conditions once established. It is also deer and rabbit resistant. Plant it in part shade to light shade as an edging, groundcover in groups, or a spiller in containers, and tidy old foliage in early spring.
