Nepeta faassenii 'Purrsian Blue', commonly known as Catmint, is a compact, tidy catmint that forms a rounded mound of aromatic gray-green foliage. From late spring through summer it is covered in spikes of lavender-blue flowers, and shearing after the first flush encourages a strong rebloom. Its neat habit makes it a great choice for edging paths, the front of the border and containers. Bees and butterflies visit constantly, while deer and rabbits generally leave it alone. It is heat and drought tolerant once established. Plant it in full sun with well-drained soil.
