Phlox paniculata 'Ka-Pow Pink', commonly known as Summer Phlox, is a compact garden phlox with large, fragrant heads of bright pink flowers. Like the rest of the Ka-Pow series, it begins blooming in late spring, earlier than most garden phlox, and flowers abundantly into late summer on sturdy, well-branched stems. Its shorter, upright habit keeps it tidy in borders and containers, and the series was selected for good resistance to powdery mildew. The cheerful blooms attract butterflies and hummingbirds and are wonderful for cutting. Grow it in full sun to part sun in moist, well-drained soil for the best display.
